When we arrived 5 o’clock this morning after spending the day in Riga we took a taxi and got our first lesson in the Georgian way of driving: with 140 through the city, honking once in a while when another car is getting to close. To put a seatbelt on would personally offend the driver. yeppeee! We arrived safely at a very nice place: Regina is hosting us for the time until we will leave for our final destination Kazbegi on Saturday. In her spacious office right in the middle of town we put down our matraztes and tried to sleep, what at first seemed to be impossible- too many impressions already - and too hot.
Today where wandering around the city today and paid our tribute to mother Georgia- a big statue overlooking the city.
